We do not collect any personal data. Full stop. This page explains exactly what Notes by SheepiesLab does and doesn't do with your information.
What we collect
Nothing. Notes by SheepiesLab does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information, usage data, analytics, crash reports, or any other data from your device.
What stays on your device
Your notes — including their titles and rich text content — are stored locally on your Mac using SwiftData. Your window background colour and opacity preference are saved to macOS UserDefaults via AppStorage. None of this data ever leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third party.
Third-party services
Notes by SheepiesLab uses no third-party SDKs, analytics services, advertising networks, or crash reporting tools. There are no external network requests of any kind.
Permissions
Notes by SheepiesLab does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, location, or any other sensitive system resource. The app requires no special macOS entitlements beyond standard application sandboxing. No system permission prompts will appear.
Children
Because we collect no data whatsoever, Notes by SheepiesLab is safe for users of all ages.
Changes to this policy
If anything about our data practices ever changes, we will update this page and revise the effective date above. Given the app's design, we don't anticipate that happening.
